Job Description

  • Plan and monitor commercial activities according to the long-term goal of the organization
  • Forecast commercial activities and take proactive approach
  • Monitoring & Managing L/C related work which includes, corresponding with suppliers, Opening L/C and its amendment, document retirement formalities and custom clearing, C & F Agents etc.
  • Selection of bank for L/C opening including comparing the commission and charges of different banks with L/C credit limit position, application and also make necessary amendment(if necessary) of L/C in order to get an effective L/C
  • Handle total operation of Import and Customs duties, Coordinate with Govt. Officials, C&F Agents, Bank & Insurance, Freight Forwarders and Transport providers.
  • Regular contact with factory personnel for checking stock position and quality of newly received raw materials, chemicals, medicine, machinery spares, etc.
  • Maintaining Time & Action plan, proper records of all LC, payments
  • Lead, assist, motivate and train up subordinates to ensure smooth Departmental operations and overcome all sorts of difficulties/issues.
  • Maintain meetings with supplier, monitor the supplier enlistment procedure ensuring proper market survey and evaluate supplier's product & service yearly.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and client requirements and relevant international and domestic law.
  • Deal with the clients regarding various financial activities and ensure cost minimization
  • Any other tasks required or assigned by Management

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA/Masters in Supply Chain Management /Accounting/Finance/Management from the reputed university
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Commercial, Purchase/Procurement, Supply Chain, Store/Inventory
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Poultry

Job Requirements:

  • Age 30 to 40 years
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
