Job Description

Key Responsibilities (but not restricted to) are: Assist to design, implementation, monitoring, and supervision of the all programmes and projects under the Director (Development Programme). Work closely with the senior management team and ensure annual programme/project implementation plan are developed timely along with required/revised budget. Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization. Support in developing annual budget and operating plan to support the program Assist in developing program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of service Strengthening linkage, networking, collaboration and partnership at national, regional and global level. Regular monitoring, evaluation, reflection and learning and are accountable to the key stakeholders. Provide strategic guidance to the program technical team for ensuring high quality design, planning, managing, and scale up of program interventions in all selected geographical areas where RDRS works. Ensure effective coordination amongst different departments and units. Identify and explore opportunities to develop new programme/project in line with the vision and mission of the organization. Ensure efficient usage of the available resources. Unsure on time project reporting. Contribute to build a high performing team that leads multidimensional activities and develop team members to take up the pressing development challenges. Provide necessary technical and professional guidance to the project implementation team. Conduct regular field visits to observe, support, discuss, and document issues as needed. Maintain congenial working relationship with stakeholder at different levels. Uphold and improve relationship with project partners, explore opportunities for collaboration and synergies. Maintain liaison with GO/NGO, academia, research institutions, universities, and other professional bodies.

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements: Master degree in any discipline (minimum second class in all academic records). Experience Requirements: At least 10 years Job Requirements: Age At most 45 years At least 10 years of work experience in development sector in development organization (national NGO or INGO) of which 5 years in management position. Working experience on Project Management, Staff Management, Project Proposal Writing, Partnership building, Networking, and Advocacy, Donor liaison, Donor Involvement. Experience in participatory management along with dynamic leadership skills. Knowledge of program management. Good conceptual understanding of development strategies and approaches. Excellent project management skills and basic understanding on LFA. Understanding of strategy development, implementation and organizational change processes. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Good literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), email, internet. Clear understanding of human rights and gender issues. Strong analytical and presentation skills. Able to work under pressure. Excellent writing and communication skills both Bangla and English. Willing to travel extensively within the RDRS operational areas and beyond (more than 70% of the working time). Good understanding about the national and global development trends and experience. Age may be relaxed upto 50 years for deserving candidates.
