Job Description

Directly work for jute producer, jute processing entrepreneur, buyer, weaver, retailer; vocational training participant selection and support; Provide marketing support and technical guidance for the different products marketing; Responsible for increasing production of smallholder and value chain; Liaison with Department of Agriculture Marketing (DAM) for day to day update of market information; Organize meeting, workshop, seminar, field day, folksongs, and people's theatre as and when necessary; Keep communication with community, public and private sectors and others GO/NGOs; Compilation and preparation of reports for the marketing Sector; Project briefing and rapport building with the community and related stakeholders on advocacy.

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements: At least Bachelor degree or diploma in Agriculture Experience Requirements: At least 3 years Job Requirements: At least 2 years experience in the relevant field; Should have knowledge on agriculture market information within country; Skill on documentation, reporting and facilitation; Willingness to ride bicycle; Good interpersonal skills; Age maximum 40 years (may be relaxed for deserving candidates).
