Job Description / Responsibility:
At least 10 years experiences and having served in a senior position of Quality Control area in any sweater factories.
Should have technical knowledge of paper patterns & production process.
Should have knowledge about social compliance standards being used in the apparel business.
Should be able to independently manage factory evaluation and selection process.
Strong leadership quality & attitude is a MUST
Analyze and solve production line problems, conduct evaluations and monitor corrective actions to resolve those problems
Should be able to ensure Zero quality claims & ensure 100% customer warehouse pass rate
Should be a dynamic, enthusiastic & effective decision maker.
Ensure Quality System and Procedures is executed, followed and maintained as per company's and Buyer's requirements. Carry Periodic assessments.
Coach, Train, guide Senior Executives and Buyer Account Heads to do an outstanding performance and grow autonomous. Empower.
Design and conduct training on Quality, process and procedures. Train, educate, and develop Departmental Resource.
Energize, motivate, and create enthusiasm within the QAD team and Production members.
Support, suggest and collaborate with Technical and Production Teams in improving and developing product quality and production.
Prepare High risk and critical points in collaboration with Technical department, Buyer Account Head and Senior Executives. Ensure the same is strictly followed and communicated to Production by Account Heads.
Participate in PP MEETING and ensure points are cascaded, understood and applied by all concerned.
Oversee routine per-production and during production Quality processes: Yarn approval, accessories and Trims check system, size sets, and in-line and Final inspections. Pilot runs.
Provide support in developing quality in subcontract units (embroidery, print or other details not available in house).
Collaborate in maintaining Product Safety, Metal Free Policy, House Keeping
Stop and take actions on poor performance- Give directions to improve OQL
Reviewing and revising process and system where and whenever necessary
Help to Analyze and assess product risks during the development, start-up/pilot runs and production
Graduate or Masters
At least 10 years
