Job Description

  • The job description for the position Senior Executive II, Environment & Chemical Compliance_Genesis Washing Limited is given below:
  • Implement company's EHS, chemical management and waste management policy by developing and following standard operating procedures, monitor, follow-up, review and update regularly to meet sustainable demand on Environment.
  • Follow up and updated all applicable legal requirements /permits/license.
  • Follow-up, take necessary action & cooperate on water, waste water, air, noise etc. tests from Department of Environment, Third party or internal lab.
  • Monitor internal chemical transport, storage, distribution, mixing, handling and disposal.
  • Provide abstract SDS /GHS label, secondary containment & appropriate Personal protective equipment, and monitor to maintain regularly.
  • Communicate with chemical Supplier to collect/update MSDS, TDS, positive list, MRSL/RSL compliance certificate, Test Report to comply with RSL.
  • Check Chemical MSDS to track banned chemicals and Substance of high concern and Prepare phase out plan as applicable.
  • Regular visit facility area, Identify Environment and chemical risk, find control measure & take preventive and corrective action.
  • Communicate with Different sections/departments to collect all data for Water, Energy, Chemical and Waste to report and prepare required documents as well as keeping record.
  • Conduct training and keep record on environment awareness, Chemical handling, waste management and any other assigned by authority.
  • Any other task given by top management.

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements:

    M.Sc in Environmental Science from any reputed University.

Experience Requirements:

  • At most 1 years

  • Must be fluent in spoken & written English
