Job Description

  • Build the capacity and confidence of individuals who are running the proposed social enterprise innovations, including business planning support
  • • Build local social enterprise innovations into micro enterprise organizations which can respond to future care needs
  • • Foster growth
  • • Raise awareness and increase understanding of the work of social enterprise innovations within the project area
  • • Engage effectively with partners and other external organizations
  • • Foster a culture of mutual support and co-operation amongst social enterprise innovations and arrange networking events
  • • Identify training needs and co-ordinate a training program and events
  • • Provide reports and updates on activities

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements:

    •Bachelor degree in relevant discipline. Preference will be given for Disaster Management, Public Health, Environment/Climate Change, Social Science, Sociology etc;

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2 years

Job Requirements:

  • Functional Competencies:
  • • Knowledge on proposal writing, strong M&E skills, budget management and financial monitoring and donor reporting;
  • • Knowledge on budget management of multi-year grants ensuring donor compliance;
  • • Knowledge on participatory development approaches including participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation
  • • Excellent knowledge on and experience with humanitarian guidelines, sphere standards and principles
  • • Strong communication skill in both verbal and written in English and Bangla;
  • • Computer skills on MS word, Excel, Power point;
  • Behavioral Competencies:
  • • Must have organizational and financial awareness;
  • • Able to execute for results;
  • • Must have innovative thinking skill;
  • • Can communicate collaboratively;
  • • Able to build effective teams.
