Job Description

  • Compliance related:
  • Ensure to obtain and achieve compliance standards in all factories of Bitopi Group and carryout regular assessment and gap analysis for individual brand's/ buyer's compliance requirements.
  • Formulate standard compliance manual(s) for the factories based on BLA as well as Buyer code of conduct. Also, update it on regular basis if any change has happened.
  • Ensure all compliance issues and relevant documents are in place and in practice driven by the factory's compliance department as per BLA, customers' requirements & Bitopi Group standards as well.
  • Lead and coordinate to monitor compliance issues of all factories on legal permit, child labor, forced labor, harassment, working hours, wages & benefits, maternity, health & safety, environment (ETP) & Chemical compliance, security etc. Need to give directives to factory compliance department to enforce immediate corrective actions as per requirement.
  • Frequent communication & coordination with buyers, audit firms, legal bodies, relating to compliance matters and CAP Preparation to avoid any kinds of mishaps related audits.
  • Need to update compliance reports, buyer portals time to time & possess update on regular basis.
  • Carry out regular compliance audit in all the production locations and put up recommendations, follow-up for implementation and provide reports thereof to the Unit heads & directors.
  • Conduct compliance training like COC, PPE, Fire Safety, First Aid and Health Safety, Building maintenance to all concerns & train the work forces.
  • Strive to achieve continuous improvement and adhere to the best practices in the country's apparels industries as regards to the compliance.
  • Prepare and update assessment of labor laws requirement from compliance point of view.
  • Maintain chemical & environmental sustainability activities by following buyer code of conduct & work procedures.
  • Responsible to drive and guide welfare team for smooth continuation of social compliance activities regularly to maintain effective cordial relationships within factory employee's.
  • Implement Code of Conduct Provided by the different renowned buyers, Coordinate when Buyer Representatives or Auditors visit the factory.
  • Any other task provided by the Management time to time.
  • CSR related:
  • Responsible for defining and developing the strategies which reinforce company's CSR objectives.
  • Conduct research, come up with ideas, develop policies, create detailed plans and build relationships with partner organizations to maintain CSR activities.
  • Manage, implement and improve Corporate Social Responsibility processes and uplift the standards of the company.
  • As a key drive in CSR, you will be required to maintain and ensure compliance requirements are met according to corporate and international standards.
  • Implement and coordinate a range of activities and initiatives which are designed to have a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
  • Initiate marketing and publicity of company's CSR policies and projects to the brand, buyers, Banks also other related partners to create a positive impact of the company.
  • Responsible for raising awareness of company's commitment to CSR and generating publicity inside and outside the organization.
  • Frequent communication with our factories to provide them guideline to maintain and ensure sustainable CSR related procedure & practices are being place.
  • Follow up with buyers and brands as well as government authorities to initiate joint CSR programs.
  • Represent the company at all relevant stakeholder events.
  • Take initiative to organize CSR related

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements:

    MBA (HRM)/ Graduate in any discipline with Post Graduate Diploma in PM/ HRM/ Compliance Management

Experience Requirements:

  • 7 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following areas:Training & Development, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business areas:Group of Companies, Garments

Job Requirements:

  • Age 28 to 38 years
