Job Description

  • The role of the head of HR is his/her leadership role where s/he leads long-range strategic planning in order to anticipate the innovation of change initiatives that promote people productivity, organizational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • S/He oversees and is accountable for all activities of the human resources department. In his leadership position he provides overall leadership and guidance to HR functions by overseeing administration, talent acquisition, training and development, career development, and so forth.
  • The head of HR is responsible for formulating strategies that lead to quality and depth in the talent employed in the business. This is inclusive of leadership, employee development, and the securing of future business growth with a focus on talent, and business culture or company culture. In this capacity, the head of HR ensures the establishment of sound strategies across the HR department, making sure that all strategies correspond with the overall business objectives.
  • To play an analytical role where s/he monitors, analyses, and identifies strategic needs, gaps, and risks. In his/her analytical role, the head of HR leverages management tools that identify, align, and build on the business's human capital capabilities in order to achieve overall business results and reach desired targets.
  • This role is also highly collaborative and the head of HR will find himself/herself in collaboration with fellow executives in an effort to better to understand, analyze, and support the needs for the business, leading to the subsequent establishment of suitable strategies.
  • The head of HR keeps up with the latest industry trends and best practices, ensuring optimal performance of the HR department, which in turn influences the performance of the various departments and the business at large. In this endeavor, the head of HR plays an active role in events, seminars, and workshops.

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements:

    Minimum graduation from any reputed university. Masters/ MBA will get preference. HR major is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following areas:General HR, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation/Benefits, Attendance, Leave Management, Training & Development, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, Organization Development/Process Improvement, Performance & Career Management
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business areas:Telecommunication, ISP, Multinational Companies, Banks, Group of Companies

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years leadership experience (Telco/ISP experience is an advantage)
  • Capability in training and development in teams
  • Can move a strategy from idea to execution-fast
  • Complaint and conflict resolution
  • Develop tools, templates and guidelines for corporate communication products and ensure visual coherence of our brand
  • Knowledge of HR learning and development issues, concepts, and principles, and ability to apply them to enhance the fulfillment and performance of employees
